For three years, Year 13 students from Huxlow and Rushden Academy have visited South India to experience local communities, meet sponsored children and see SOTE projects in action. Through their fundraising, the students also help fund projects such as borewells and clean water systems.
SOTE and Crusade have marked the start of a new community building in Gummidipoondi. The hub will provide space for healthcare, education, training and community programmes that will benefit local families for years to come.
